Staying in the sweet little 'cottage' across the drive from the main building was absolutely worth the minor splurge. The rooms were lovely, very clean, and comfortable. The location served as a brilliant base for exploring the surrounding Loire Valley. While the dining options were perfect for our needs, they could enhance the selection in certain areas. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making the experience truly enjoyable.

I couldn't have asked for a better view from my room overlooking both the Amboise Castle and the Loire. The old-world charm in all the rooms made my stay truly exceptional. The only downside was the unusual insistence on a passport photo, but the attentive and quirky service made up for it.
